Bright Founder

May 2007 was a defining moment in my life. I had a lot of things I was thankful for: a loving husband, two beautiful young children (5 and 3 at the time), and a comfortable life-style. Yet, I was not happy. As Dr. Phil puts it, “if mom ain’t happy, no one is happy”.  As a stay-at-home mom I was crying for an intellectual stimulation, a new challenge in my life.

I had a very promising career and one I was excited about. However, once I had my children, I became their primary caregiver. I understood the importance of early childhood development and I was committed to providing the best experience to my children. This affected my perception of myself. I could not see myself other than a “mom”; even though I was still improving my technical skills by reading, joining developer groups, and building software.

In the spring of 2007, I decided I need to make a change in my life. My family and I drove to Canada and I attended a technical conference (Mesh) for IT entrepreneurs. I didn’t feel like I fit in; yet I was much energized and motivated. I came back and started working on establishing a website design business. Without much business background or experience, I had a lot to learn. I started reading, taking courses, and establishing Webbright Services.

I am currently Inbound Marketing certified, SEO certified, a registered HubSpot Value-Added Reseller, and Wild Apricot Partner. I am constantly working on my personal and professional development.

Since Webbright started, I had the privilege and honor of working with amazing clients like the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association, Arabian Association for Early Childhood Education, CarolinaLiving.com, and Richland Sertoma Club).  I am also thrilled to be working with very talented and intellectual professionals and interns who help me provide exceptional services to my clients. My team can’t be stronger without my amazing Board of Advisors (Leyla, Rachel, Eric, Heba, Hesham, and Jettu). Thank you all.

I am very proud of how far Webbright has come, and I have big vision for where it needs to get. You can learn more about Webbright and the solution we offer on this website. You can also learn more about me and my background on my LinkedIn profile. I would love to connect with you by email, on my Facebook page, or Twitter account (@webbright).
